They are also "Chemical Free", so there are no chemicals to add, mix or drink. Pyrolox is a mineral bed inside of a high pressure backwashable tank, which when backwashed sends the foreign substances in your water down the drain. This standard Pyrolox system has the added benefit of including a LMI high pressure liquid Chlorine pump if Iron Bacteria or E-Coli is present in your water supply.
